Your Privacy Choices

Controls in the app

In Profile -> Settings, under Account & security, "Privacy settings" controls who can view your profile (visible to everyone, hidden from current coworkers, or hidden from all coworkers) and your discovery status (open to discovery, not currently recruiting, not looking for a job, or hidden from discovery). "Blocklist" manages people you have blocked. "Push notifications" and "Email subscriptions" control optional notifications and non-essential email.

Download or delete your data

At the bottom of Profile -> Settings, below Sign out, tap "Delete account" (tap twice to confirm) to open the Account & data screen. Its "Download data" tab exports a machine-readable copy of your data; its "Delete account" tab schedules deletion with a 30-day grace period, and signing back in during that period cancels the deletion. Downloading does not delete your account.

No sale or sharing; no ad tracking

Firsight does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, so there is currently nothing to opt out of. The iOS app contains no third-party advertising SDKs and does not use IDFA/ATT tracking. On our websites, we honor Global Privacy Control as an opt-out request if such activities ever become applicable.

Requests and appeals

Email support@firsight.net for access, correction, deletion, portability, appeals of a privacy decision, or authorized-agent requests. We may verify your identity, and an agent's authority, before acting.
